Es ist schon ein guter Brauch, alljährlich an den Beschluss des Stadtrates Herzberg am Harz vom Juli 2006 zu erinnern, der Stadt den Beinamen „Die Esperanto-Stadt“ zu geben, so auch im elften Jahr.
